ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hello and Bonjour.

Hello there. First of all, I cannot speak french, though I wish I could. More importantly, I'm Derek! I am a proud father of three boys and husband to a very crafty lady. We are based on the Central Coast of NSW, Australia.

During the day I am usually found working as a story artist for animated tv and film, sketching up all the story ideas waiting to be given movement and life in animation. I have also dabbled in character design and art direction. 

When I am not working or imparting my invaluable Canadian wisdom to my sons, I am creating fun and imaginative portraits for people just like you.
